Chapters


What are chapters?
The Chapters are an alternate form of levelling past Level 40, at present they have 20 levels in your chosen chapter and then you must join the grand chapter to level after that. Their full range of abilities is work in progress but as these will be extrathey are being added via quests. 

How do you join?
There are 2 ways to join a Chapter:
  1. Before you get to level 20 visit the chapter person in the various chapter Houses and you will be a made a member. You can then choose a special Path(Chapter subrace). This is only allowed if you are a subrace with no xp penalty.

  2. At level 40 anyone can join as long as they have the majority of there levels in the chapter classes (see details on specific chapter pages). This means 30+ Levels out of the 40. No special path can be chosen.
Is the XP as high as Gods for post level 40? 
No a chapter level is not the same as a god level and you will advance quicker, See later for there xp table. 

Do I get God Level immunities and auto rez?
No, as the chapter xp is a lot less they do not get access to these special God abilities 

Can Chapters use sacrifice stones?
No. 

What Do you get?
For each level after 40 you get a hitpoint increase, your saves go up and your ab goes up 1 every 2 levels.
If you’re a spell caster your spell caster level also increases.
There will however be further improvements made on this as the chapters develop further. 

Do Chapters have a stat cap?
Yes. You cannot increase a stat using the Chapter bonus points to over 48 (without items). This will increase when the Grand Chapter is in.
If you get more than that from subs etc, that is fine. 

What classes are allowed?
Each chapter obviously allows different types of classes, which are: 
Warrior Chapter: Fighters, Barbarians, Paladins, BlackGuard, Weapon Master, Dwarven Defenders, Arcane Archers
Pale Chapter: Palemasters
Dark Chapter: Rogues, Assassins
Divine Chapter: Clerics, Druids
Mage Chapter: Wizards, Sorcerers
Bard Chapter: Bards
Monk Chapter: Monks

Chapter Rank names
Each Chapter level has a Rank name (see below). These will change, as the chapters develope to remove the same name for levels (i.e. level 12 and level 13 bards are just bards, this will change in the future).
