Custom Item Tutorial
To Create Custom Equipment in LOC, five (5) tokens from the same category must be found and taken to the Chance Forge, and converted into a Custom Token. Custom Tokens can be created for each of the following item types:
- Amulet
- Armour
- Shield
- Ring
- Boots
- Cloak
- Belt
- Helmet
- Bracers
- Gauntlets
- Weapon (including Mage Staffs)
Thus a Custom Item can be created for each type of
equipable item normally found in the game.
All Custom Items are restricted to a maximum level of 21 at creation, however it is possible to increase its level by finding the rare and very valuable Upgrade Token associated with the specific item type, i.e. Upgrade Boots Token 22 or Upgrade Amulet Token 23.
There are two types of standard upgrades: "Lvl22" and "Lvl23" They work on all non-weapon type items.
This means:
Upgrade token to Lvl22 - Changes Lvl21 custom to Lvl22 custom
Upgrade token to Lvl23 - Changes Lvl22 custom to Lvl23 custom
Upgrade Tokens fall into two categories: standard upgrades and weapon upgrades.
There are four types of weapon upgrades:
- "Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 25"
- "Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 30"
- "Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 35"
- "Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 40"
"Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 25" - Changes Lvl21 customs upto Lvl25, one level at a time for each token.
"Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 30" - Changes Lvl26 customs upto Lvl30, one level at a time for each token.
"Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 35" - Changes Lvl31 customs upto Lvl35, one level at a time for each token.
"Upgrade Weapon Token to Lvl 30" - Changes Lvl36 customs upto Lvl40, one level at a time for each token.
Note: Monk gloves are made following weapon rules, using Custom weapon token and weapon upgrades.
By questing for all of these types of upgrades you will achieve some of the most powerful items in the game, created by you, and specifically designed for your individual character.
