Custom Weapons (For Melee)
Weapons may only have the following properties (NO OTHERS):

· Attack Bonus (AB)
· Enhancement Bonus (EB)
· Melee Damage
· On Hit (but only two of them, on weapons between 31st and 40th Level – see rules below*)

Gauntlets (For Melee)
Gauntlets may only have the following properties (NO OTHERS):

· Attack Bonus (AB)
· Melee Damage
· On Hit (but only two of them, on weapons between 31st and 40th Level – see rules below*)

Mage Rods, Staffs and Wands, and non-melee Weapons or Gauntlets

Any non-weapon properties (within the rules) can be placed on these. These items may NOT go above 23rd level.

You may NOT mix weapon and non-weapon properties on customs.

Attack/Enhancement Bonus

· +10 Attack Bonus maximum
· +10 Enhancement Bonus maximum

These will not stack together or with repeats on the same item (+5 AB and +5 AB = +5 AB, not +10 AB).

If you stack +10 AB and +5 EB, then you will get +10 to your AB and +5 to your damage.

Armour Class
+7 Armour (AC) maximum on any custom item

There are five (5) areas of AC:

· Dodge AC - Boots
· Armour AC - Weapon, Armour, Bracer
· Deflection AC - Weapon, Cloak, Ring, Helmet, Belt, Gauntlets
· Natural AC - Amulet
· Shield AC - Shield

Only Dodge AC stacks (to maximum of 20); boots plus buffs.

Damage Bonus
Any damage bonus allowed. Only 1 fixed damage type per 2 levels past 30 (1 at 32, 2 at 34... 5 at 40),

Damage Resist
Damage resists will not stack.

· Damage Resistance 20/- to acid
· Damage Resistance 20/- to bludgeoning
· Damage Resistance 20/- to cold
· Damage Resistance 5/- to divine
· Damage Resistance 20/- to electric
· Damage Resistance 20/- to fire
· Damage Resistance 5/- to magical
· Damage Resistance 15/- to negative energy
· Damage Resistance 20/- to piercing
· Damage Resistance 15/- to positive
energy
· Damage Resistance 20/- to slashing
· Damage Resistance 20/- to sonic

Damage Immunity
Stacking of damage immunities in LOC is NOT permitted, even if you find it on an item it in the game. You must remove one to wear another.

· Damage Immunity 10% to acid
· Damage Immunity 25% to bludgeoning on helmet
· Damage Immunity 10% to cold
· Damage Immunity 10% to divine
· Damage Immunity 10% to electric
· Damage Immunity 10% to fire
· Damage Immunity 10% to magical
· Damage Immunity 10% to negative energy
· Damage Immunity 25% to piercing on belt
· Damage Immunity 10% to positive energy
· Damage Immunity 25% to slashing on armour
· Damage Immunity 10% to sonic

Soak
Maximum soak is +6 and damage 30 on any one item. It will not stack across items.

Regeneration
Maximum combined total of 10 on all items.

Saving Throws
These bonuses do not stack on the same item.

There is a "Saving Throw Bonus-Universal" that can be chosen and it is important to note it will not stack with any other saving throw bonuses that you put on the same item.

Example: a player designs his Helm of Dwarven Stupidity with the following stats:

· Universal Saving Throw+5
· Saving throw Bonus Specific: Fortitude +3

The bonus is only +5 to Fortitude saving throws, not +8. NWN only registers the largest bonus value on an item.

However, saving throws stack from different items.

*On Hit
These can only be put on weapons above 30th level. You may place only two “on hit” properties on them, but you may not use the following:

Dispel Magic
Greater Dispelling
Lesser Dispelling
Mordenkainen's Disjunction
Any of the Slay options

On Hit Cast Spell or Cast Spell
You may NOT use these on any item.

Spell Slots
These can be placed on any item, but NOT mixed with weapon properties. These items may NOT go above 23rd level.

Feats
No Hide in Plain Sight (HIPS) on items, in order that we preserve the Shadowdancer's class uniqueness.

All others are acceptable.

Miscellaneous
Many of the following none permitted properties will have the property removed if you attempt to wear the item.

No damage vs. Racial on any item (weapons especially)
No Slay Alignment on any item (weapons especially)
No Immunity to any of the Dispel spells
No immunity to Critical Hits
No immunity to Sneak Attack
No immunity to Fear
No immunity to Mind Spells
No immunity to Negative Levels
No immunity to Knockdowns
No immunity to Issacs's Greater Missile Storm.

No ammunition of any kind
No immunity to schools of magic
No immunity to spells levels above level 2.
No True Seeing
